Meera has performed at many prestigious conferences and mehfils of many religious places and music circles in India. She is an approved B high artist of All India Radio for classical vocal music. She is a recipient of ‘KAL KI KALAKAR’ award and also ‘Abhinav Kala Samman’ in 31st Yuva Khoj Sangeet Sammelan arranged by Abhinav kala parishad, Bhopal. She stood first and got selected as talented vocal artist in the program of Gayanacharya Pandit Gajananbuva Joshi Concert arranged by Kalarasik music club. She is also recipient of ‘SURMANI’ award by sur singar sansad, Mumbai.
She has been awarded Padmavibhushan Dr. Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur Yuva Puraskar 2012 at Dharwad by Rashtriya Trust of Karnatak Govt.
Basically meera belives on krupa of SATGURU, GURU and blessings of all senior musicians and by that way, she is establishing her identity, through her art of singing, classical music.
In addition to the above, she is fortunate to receive the training of Agra School from very popular and talented singer Pandit Babanrao Haldankar who was a disciple of Ustad Khadim Hussain Khan Saheb as well as Gantapaswini Mogubai Kurdikar. Actually, Meera is a Sadhak of sixth musical generation. Every nawasalkar generation was continuously in service of Indian classical music and many religious events similarly.
